Metro State, Regis to Co-Host RMAC Softball Championship

DENVER - The 2010 Women’s Softball Championship competition for the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference will be held Metropolitan State College of Denver and Regis University campuses in early May.

The competition takes place Thursday through Saturday, May 6 – 8 with three games a day at both Regis University and Metro State. The final day will be held solely at Metro State.

Metro State is the No. 1 seed and the regular season conference champions with a record of 36-3. The team is currently ranked No. 5 in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association NCAA Division II top-25 poll.

The winner of the RMAC tournament will receive an automatic bid to enter the NCAA tournament. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students and children five and under are admitted free.
